Michael is fourth generation of renowned Scottish builders Palmer Bros (Kilwinning) Ltd. He was "helping” on building sites as young as 5 years old. With his Grandfather and Mother heavily involved in building, land development, commercial & residential property, Michael has grown up around and been involved in property investment vehicles all of his life.
Relocating from Ayrshire to London to perfect his own trade, Michael started in estate agency in affluent Notting Hill with industry leaders Foxtons. As one of the most consistent top performing agents, he progressed rapidly through the ranks from negotiator to senior management within record time. Then headed up his own brand new Central London office.
As his reputation grew, he was headhunted by industry giants Kinleigh Folkhard & Hayward to open and head up their newest office in exclusive Holland Park, within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. During this period Michael was responsible for the largest ever lettings deal in the company's 38 year history. He also advised the owner and CEO on new systems and structures for the company. He featured in the Sunday Times Property section and had monthly 'Ask the Experts' columns in luxury lifestyle magazines ‘Absolutely’ Kensington, Chelsea & Notting Hill.
Back in Ayrshire Michael worked with Donald Ross Residential heading up their new Kilmarnock Office. He helped them achieve huge market share and success in both town and country properties across Ayrshire in a very short space of time. He was instrumental in their continuing expansion and in helping them achieve four Gold British Property Awards.
